These things take time (poem)
The minutes seems like hours
As I try to get back to you.
Days seems like months,
As you battle through.
And the days seem like nights -
So dark and so cold -
Mind is willing, body weak,
We feel so young; we’re getting old.
But we’re winning our wars,
We’ll be re-united still.
The hunger that I’ve felt,
I always will.
