Protecting your email address

The technology I use here (WordPress) requires an email address when you leave a comment. Requiring an email address helps me determine which comments are legitimate and also means I can reply in person.

I promise not to abuse your trust

• I promise not to spam you
• I promise not to add your email address to any mailing lists
• I promise not to sell or share your email address with anyone

I am the only person who sees your email address and I promise never to do anything bad with it.

Fighting spam

I hate spam as much as you do, which is why I use anti-spam technology on this site, including Akismet and Spam Poison.

Comment policy

1. Your comment may not appear immediately. However, I regularly review trapped comments and allow legitimate ones.
2. I allow all relevant responses, including criticism (but not spam!)
3. You may link to your site in the ‘Website’ box. Do include relevant links in the body of the comment too.
4. I reserve the right to edit comments for typographical/display reasons and to remove spam links.
5. Commenters retain copyright of their comments.

If you choose to subscribe to comments, you will receive an email each time somebody posts a comment to that entry. You will not be added to any mailing lists and you can unsubscribe at any time.

If you subscribe by email, FeedBurner will have your email address. They promise not to do bad things with it either; their Privacy Policy says so.

Web feed (RSS)
