Theme
Original theme: Grid Focus
by Derek Punsalan, 5thirtyone.com, customised by Kathleen.
With thanks to Sadish Bala for MistyLook, which was the theme I used here, after lots of customisation to make it my own, almost from the beginning until 11 October 2007.
Iconage

Amazing 3D web feed icon.

Ideas & inspiration
Wayne of Fit & the Conniptions, reminding me of the importance of images, which I'd completely forgotten.
Functionality
Plugins
I may write a WordPress plugins entry at some point, as I have so many and they're so useful. You can see many of the ones I like by looking at my del.icio.us bookmarks for plugins (lists & collections of plugins) and plugin (single plugins).
Some of my faves…
Statistics
I use MyBlogLog, which I like a lot.
Pros: The Pro service is brilliant; clearly laid out, loads of info.
Cons: Pro is currently $3/month or $25/year.
In January 2007, I started trialling 103 bees, following a ProBlogger recommendation. They have great reviews from lots of reputable bloggers.
Pros: It's free!
Cons: It tells you about search term traffic only. Still, a brilliant tool, I think, especially for popular blogs and people with multiple sites.
In October 2007, I started using Google Analytics; the more stats the better!
Pros: Free, plus loads of info
Cons: Haven't found any yet!
Oh, and I use FeedBurner for my web feed statistics.
Meta-Credits: About this page
On 21 Nov 2006, I wrote How to be happy, or Why you're sad and how to fix it, in which (amongst other things) I espoused the benefits of gratitude with my Say thank you experiment.
In past websites, I've tended to have a Credits page for the purposes of acknowledging and thanking those who've helped make those site what they were.
Combine these two facts and you get the motivations behind the page you're reading now. This page will never be complete, but I'll keep adding to it as things pop in to my head.
Thank you!
